Nuisance Wildlife

Racoons

Racoons seek shelter under porches or decks, trees and even chimneys. They are known to have up to 20 dens within a few blocks. These “bandits” are highly adaptable and will go to any length to obtain food or build a potential den. They’ve been known to rip apart a roof to get in. They are also considered the most common wildlife carrier of disease and a health risk as they can spread roundworm. Considered armed and dangerous when provoked or trapped and have been known to attack family pets in their backyards.

Squirrels

Squirrels can and do chew their way through structural material to set up home in attics and garage ceilings. They find entry through places such as roof tiles and broken screens. They can make a mess out of your garden or ruin a budding tree, but when they chew through electrical wires and use insulation as a drey, the damage begins to mount. If they climb down a chimney, they usually can’t get out and can cause chaos in your home. They are generally unaffected by repellents.

Skunks

Skunks are aggressive and it doesn’t take much for them to spray. Skunks will, if they can, take over attics, crawlspaces and areas under decks and patios. Once inside, they shred insulation and other building material to create nests. Then they mark their territory.

Our Solution:

  • Inspect and assess damage
  • Capture animals live and remove them from the premises
  • Repair and seal all entry points and potential entry points from foundation to the roof
  • Decontamination and sanitization
  • Report any necessary structural restoration
  • Provide future protection
