If there is one thing about mice in a house, is that they will always end up in the kitchen. And of course what will you find? Mouse droppings, they are one of the most common signs of mice in your kitchen and this will let you know you have a larger problem on your hands. Mouse droppings are about 3-8mm similar to a piece of rice with pointed ends and they can produce over a 100 droppings a night. Also, their urine is very stinky like ammonia and like their feces they pee everywhere. Mice tend to do most of their mischief at night but unlike rats they will scurry around during the day. Because mice like to stick to the sides of walls, they end up creating grease marks from the oil on their fur everywhere they go. Simple prevention guidelines include: sore dried food in airtight containers, put pet food and water away at night, seal holes around pipes, keep your countertops clean and no dirty dishes, clean up any spillages and finally take the garbage out regularly.
