Mice are harder to control than rats, therefore complete control may take a longer period.
Rodent-proofing your home:
- Look for droppings both rats and mice inside and outside of your home.
- Remove sources of water, food and housing from your closets, attics and gardens.
- Keep trash bins covered.
- Remove wood piles, junk and garden debris that attract rodents to nest on your property.
- Turn the contents of your compost bin regularly.
- Seal up small holes around pipes, vents, doors and windows.
- Lay glue boards in pathways that rodents travel as an alternative trap.
- Place the bait stations in areas that rodents frequent.
