Fall season: Rats and Mice

Mice are harder to control than rats, therefore complete control may take a longer period.

Rodent-proofing your home:

  1. Look for droppings both rats and mice inside and outside of your home.
  2. Remove sources of water, food and housing from your closets, attics and gardens.
  3. Keep trash bins covered.
  4. Remove wood piles, junk and garden debris that attract rodents to nest on your property.
  5. Turn the contents of your compost bin regularly.
  6. Seal up small holes around pipes, vents, doors and windows.
  7. Lay glue boards in pathways that rodents travel as an alternative trap.
  8. Place the bait stations in areas that rodents frequent.
