Is That a Rat Under the Hood

Rain can send rodents under the hood of your car. The damage can cost hundreds of dollars. A day of rain could mean damage to your car and you’ll find out when its too late. Randy Bilesky from Go Green Pest Control says ” When it rains, rodents look for shelter. Unfortunately for you, one place they might go is under the hood of your car costing you hundreds of dollars”. The soy based coating on wires can be enticing: it’s food  for them and they don’t care about your car.  There are all kinds of repellents available to purchase but they most likely won’t work and that isn’t you best option. Removing the rodents in the area is usually your best option. Bilesky states ” If squirrels are the problem, we live trap them and move them to forested parks where they won’t cause this kind of damage”. “If you can catch the ones that have started eating the wiring in cars, and remove those, it’s likely that other squirrels will not repeat the same damage”. If a rodent does damage your car, contact ICBC or your local insurance agent to see if the damage is covered under your comprehensive portion of your car insurance.  go green pest control    ladner pest control     tsawwassen pest control    delta pest control    randy Bilesky rat rat rat
