Below are a list of fruits and vegetables, from worst to best, based on the amount of pesticide found on the food. More than 98 percent of strawberry, peaches, nectarines, and apples tested positive for at least one pesticide residue. The average potato has more pesticides by weight than any other produce. A single grape and a sweet bell pepper contain 15 pesticides. Strawberries show 17 different pesticides.
