Stung by bull ant !!!

An Australian news reporter was bitten by a bull ant and could not continue her script as the excruciating pain of the bull ant’s bite takes over.  The clip was filmed a few months ago but never been aired and has now surfaced after being posted on an Instagram account. Australian bull ants, which can grow up to 40mm long, can be extremely aggressive when defending their nests and their stings are horrible. Bull ants are fierce little creatures that can sting again and again repeating its dose of nasties. The jaws of the bull ant workers are quite gentle unlike many other ants. They feed on other insects and things such as honeydew from scale insects. The queen bull ant leaves the nest at night to forage and supplement the food supply of her progeny.
