Turn that wasp nest into paper

Now that its winter, those nasty paper wasps are nowhere to be found. So it is the best time of the year to collect the paper wasps nests. Wasps create their own paper out of wood fibers that they chewed up and build their nests. Believe it or not, you can make handmade paper for the pulp of their nests. Tear the paper wasp nests into small pieces. Put that in the blender and add water to the mix. Soon the blender will turn the whole potion into a slurry. Cut up a square of window screen the size of the bottom of a small cake pan. Place the screen in the bottom of the cake pan; pour the blender slurry into the pan. Lift the square of window screen, keeping it horizontal as you lift it from the pan, and let the excess water drain away. Grab a couple of the Delta Optimist, lay out a few sheets of the newspaper and lay the window screen on top of it and cover it with a sheet of wax paper. Take a rolling pin and squeeze out the water. After the handmade paper is completely dry, remove it from its window screen backing. Now you can make a greeting card or anything that you want with your own wasp paper.
